Typical of a coin put away by a member of the general public shortly after release, as a souvenir of the new "copper Penny" type. The Obverse is generally sharp however the Reverse die shows some obvious clashing and considerable die stress lines, so it was a bit long in the tooth. The small depressions, one on each side, appear to be strike throughs or small planchet defects, and not post strike damage from circulation. Similarly, the area of roughness on the Obverse rim at 9:00-10:00 is due to damage to the die or collar. Obviously this was produced late in the production run.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
