Item Description
Repunched Date, Snow-5, FS-2304. Only one attributed coin in VF-25 at PCGS, the example offered here is clearly nicer so a potential opportunity for someone if they choose to resubmit. LIBERTY is complete with every letter showing in its entirety and 95% of the bands above and below. Later die state with the RPD featured a bit "smeared" looking, however the repunching on the "1" is clearly visible in my Obverse image even so. I was not able to determine whether this was S-5a or S-5b, with a quick review - I leave that to the new owner. Generally problem free, most of the slight roughness to the look is due to the deteriorated state of the dies when struck. PCGS suggests a value of $275.
