I have a "SEMI-KEY DATE 1866 INDIAN HEAD LARGE CENT for sale. This copper beauty has a mintage of less than 9.83M. All the letters to "Liberty" are visible, with the e & r being the weakest with about two-thirds of the letters visible. All other letters are pretty strong. The neck and rim at 7 o'clock seem to have a nick, but I am not sure without taking the coin out of the holder. The white piece on the letter "C" in "America" was a crumb. It has the dark brown color that collectors desire.
In my opinion, this coin appears to be in XF condition, as marked by the previous owner. However, I am not a coin grading expert. This would be a nice coin for your midgrade Indian Head cent collection. Please review the pics to judge the condition of the coin for yourself.
