I have a "‹SEMI-KEY DATE 1867 INDIAN HEAD LARGE CENT for sale. This copper beauty has a mintage of less than 9.83M. All the letters to "Liberty" are visible and strong. Not only does it have the dark brown color that collectors desire, but it has a beautiful darker toning on the obverse rim from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock.
In my opinion, this coin appears to be in XF+ condition. The previous owner had it incorrectly marked as a VF coin and it is in better condition than that, based on the lines in the Shield on the reverse and letters in "Liberty". However, I am not a coin grading expert. This would be a nice coin for your midgrade Indian Head cent collection. Please review the pics to judge the condition of the coin for yourself.
