A bit of an "odd duck": this coin shows a mushy LIBERTY, which seems to be a characteristic of the specific die used, as the feathers and other areas that are commonly weak on a poorly struck coin are struck up well. It is also possible that this area was partially clogged with grease or debris. Otherwise, it displays lovely brown surfaces with some light touches of original planchet color here and there, and little if any of the woodgrain surfaces that this date commonly shows. Nice and original and more than "OK" for the grade.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
