Item Description
Bold N, Repunched Date. Snow-1b, the so-called "Bar Lip". A solid Choice AU example of this Semi Key date, certified PCGS AU-55. The die scratch on Liberty's lip is obvious. Individual coin images taken prior to submission. I got a decent image of that feature, however the repunching on the date was too shallow for my camera to pick up. The Reverse appears to be an earlier die state than listed in Snow, as I don't see the die cracks noted. Some small marks near the date/end of Liberty's bust are all to mention. Individual coin images taken prior to submission. Unfortunately, PCGS does not recognize this variety, despite it's obvious nature and being the "#1" Snow variety for the date. However, I guarantee the attribution. As values on varieties is a matter of opinion (Snow suggests a possible 2x premium), listed with a Make an Offer option.
