1872 Indian Head Cent Uncirculated Detail Cleaned Key Date Toned
Key Date 1872 Uncirculated Indian Head Cent . While this coin has no sign of wear, and glassy, almost proof-like luster, as oposed tpo a cartwheel luster. There are a few light and stray hair lines mainly on the obverse. The luster seems a little unnatural to my eye. It may have been lightly lacquered long ago but I am honestly not sure. This is how I acquired it, and I do not handle a lot of these, and in particular, mint state key date 1870s Indian Cents. Attractive red/purple toning, especially on the reverse
Very tough date to find in any grade, but it gets very expensive in uncirculated grades, even the lowest uncirculated grades starts around $700.
Greysheet Bid/Ask for the lowest possible Brown Uncirculated grade on the scale is $665/$885 and in Red/Brown RB (which this coin definitely would be), is $800/$1000
