I know this note's history from 1800s, it was bought for a collector new!!!

Item Description
This "shinplaster" was bought as a "Thank You" for Parke Davis in Medina, NY by a client of his, who knew he was a collector. It was given to me by my late great grandmother (who knew him) in the 1960s, along with the ancient "thank you" letter (which is in the Medina Historical Society Museum, along with his Civil War discharge and paraphernalia). I could not see sending this to the museum like many of the other items I sent there, because I am collector.
This note in this or lesser condition is going on other sites for $60-$120. I am offering it to this community of collectors, because I know they will enjoy it.
This bill (or " shin plaster " as it was called) will be sent with tracking in a bill protector as soon as I receive payment (I'll get you tracking number when I receive it).
Note---If the USPS says you received it at your mailing address, I'm sure you received it. (An Ebay buyer had trouble with this concept once.)

I have included a number of photos, including a close up of the seal (as there are 2 varieties), and a "back lighted" set of photos so you can see that there are no folds, pinholes or "dogears"--and you can see the fibers in the paper.
The hardest handling it has had was by dealers who evaluated it, and made sensible wholesale offers a decade ago.
