This variety of the 1875-S seated dime with the mintmark located above the bow (or in wreath, as some others might say) is a very scarce coin. In my experience, the below bow variety is roughly six times as available as this variety.
Apparently dipped long ago, this coin still retains a great deal of its original mint luster, and is quite appealing.
Not only is this a scarce variety, but the coin also exhibits a couple of "mint errors", those being both a retained cud and a rim cud at 7:00-8:00 on the reverse . . . Neat coin!
