A very scarce 1878 P 7/8 weak, Top 100 VAM 32 7/3 TF Morgan Dollar. This coin is XF imo with details of heavy wear in the fields. This VAM has an R6 rarity and is listed 6th in the Top 100 list on VAM world! Under a loupe, all the diagnostic markers are evident: 3 TF, broken star point, die scratch in tail feather, die scratch on B in liberty, etc. As with any coin of this age, the coin may or may not have been cleaned or wiped at some point in its life and may or may not have scratches, nicks, or dings. check out the photos and judge for yourself the grade and condition.
