1880-CC GSA Morgan Silver Dollar NGC MS64 VAM 8 (8/7 Rev of '79) w/ OGP Box COA Blast White
This listing is for an appealing and attractive, blast white 1880-CC GSA Morgan Silver Dollar graded by NGC MS64. This coin is clearly one of the overdate varieties or VAM's. I struggled with this being VAM 3, 5 or 8 as VAM's are not my area of expertise by any stretch. After much research, I have concluded this to be VAM 8 (8/7 dash) as a smaller piece of the dash below the first zero and not much of the remnants of the 7 is visible inside the zero.
This is also the reverse of 79 so with all those factors considered, I concluded this is VAM 8. I may be wrong so I took many pictures including a close up of the date so you can draw your own conclusions. If you believe I am wrong feel free to message me. I planned to send this coin to PCGS for crossover and VAM attribution, but time is of the essence.
The coin in the photos is the exact coin you will receive.
