This coin has a die error on the letters A & M in AMERICA the uneven rim makes the metal uneven and it is flowing up to the edge above Indians head that is why that part of the coin looks worn down.You can see the letters in STATES start to fade away because they are getting covered in metal..Reverse side has some damage and you can see the micro pieces of metal but not as much as the other side..Great coin for Indian head collectors.
