1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar ANACS Photo Slab Gen 10 MS60/63 Lustrous White Coin

Here we have an 1882-CC Morgan Silver Dollar in an old Generation 10 ANACS Photo Slab which were in production from January 1987 through early 1990. After the Gen 10 Photo Slab came the first of the ANA sonicaly sealed slabs. Before that, the photo slabs had been around since as early as 1972 which a lot of people aren't aware of.

While the coin is housed in an unsealed flip, coins, like snow flakes and finger prints, have unique characteristics making them not too difficult to identify. The digital image is attached to the photo slab and when you line up the various bag marks and other unique charachteristics of the coin, they all line up with the photo. The coin itself was purchased 2 years ago at one of the local Centennial Auctions and came from a decades long collector and he had dozens of these Photo Slabs and all of them checked out.

This popular Carson City Morgan Dollar is very lustrous and almost entirely white. While there is some light chater, by today's grading standard, I can confidently say this coin would almost certainly grade 63 if sent to Newport Beach, but that's just my opinion and I do send close to 1,000 Morgans a year to them, but please draw your own conclusions.

Your bid is for the EXACT coin in the photos. At SAM's Coins and Heavy Metal LLC, we NEVER use Stock Photos.
