All of the seated halves from 1879 to 1890 are very scarce, with mintages of ony a few thousand. Of these, only the 1884 (with 5275) has a smaller mintage than the 1882 (5500). This coin has been cleaned, but exhibits great AU detail, a crisp strike, and clean surfaces. Nice eye appeal.
