Item Description
An original "old time" Proof coin, that showed up at a local coin show along with a Proof Three Cent Nickel and Proof Shield Nickel of the same year. Likely part of a Minor Proof Coin Set as sold by the U. S. Mint at the time. Attractive color typical of Proof Bronze coins, a mix of reds, orange and yellow-green highlights around a central area of purple-brown and blue, which are visible when the coin is tipped to the light (I could not capture them in my images).
