Here is an 1883 P (No Cents) Liberty Nickel that has been graded by PCGS as MS 62. This is a very well preserved specimen from the very first year of minting and also without the "Cents" designation that was added later. In fact, these represented only one fourth of the total nickel mintage for that year. As you can see from the photos, the front, unlike so many coins, seems to be perfectly aligned with the reverse. PCGS (July/August 2021) indicates that an MS 62 coin would be worth $60 and USACoinbook warrants that if you were to purchase an MS 60 coin from a dealer that you would pay around $38; an MS 63 coin would cost you $54. But you can have this graded coin for only $49 (plus shipping).
This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
To ensure delivery, this coin will be sent via Certified Mail.
Please note that the system is not structured to adjust the shipping charges unless I was selling several coins under a single listing. (I have not seen anyone on USACoinbook do this.) Thus, if you were to order multiple coins from me (each a different denomination/year/mint/grade/etc), you could be socked with what seems to be outrageous shipping costs. To overcome this, order all of the coins you want, but do NOT pay yet. I can then go in and adjust the invoice to bring the shipping costs to a more reasonable level. At this time you should pay me.
If paying by check or money order, this coin will be shipped once funds have cleared.
Thanks for looking.
