A very original AU/Unc “slider”, probably put aside within a month or two of entering circulation. Virtually no wear with a bright Obverse, a bit of light toning on the Reverse at center, indicating time spent in a coin folder of some kind (the glue used in these tended to tone the Reverse side of many of the coins housed in them). This actually stands a chance at certifying as a low end Unc. The services tend to give these a “mulligan” at the MS-60 to 62 grade levels, excusing minor signs of circulation as planchet roughness or light handling if the coin shows enough luster. Not worth it for me to try as I believe that this belongs in a coin album, however if submitted I will guarantee a certified grade of at least AU-55. I am hedging just a bit as all the services have tightened up radically at the end of 2023, and can no longer be acurately predicted - this would normally come back AU-58 however.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
