This is what an original AU+ '86-O looks like, before the coin doctors get to it. Smoky yellow-gray surfaces with the soft "fuzzy" luster common to the date, due to improper die spacing when struck (per Bowers). The luster does not show up well in my images due to the color, however it is there. This example is reasonably well struck, certainly not a "pancake", with reasonable definition in the hair over Liberty's ear. The Eagle's breast as usual is a bit blunt. In my opinion equivalent to a certified AU-53. Not huge rarity to be sure, however a wholesome original example - finding an uncleaned AU 1886-O is tough enough to make it a reasonable challenge.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
