1887 Indian Head Cent Doubled Die Obverse (DDO) in Good 6 Grade with fully original surfaces with even wear throughout. Strong doubling on AMERICA (the main pick up point to spot this variety). The faint top portions of three letters of LIBERTY on the headband are visible (not readable), and there a few lines on the shield that are visible but not clearly defined. This variety in included in the Cherrypickers' Guide 5th Edition Volume 1 on page 64, and is indexed as FS-01-1887-101. Grading is subjective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade. An affordable copy of one of the strongest doubled dies in the entire Indian Head Cent series!
