1887 Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS64 Tidy House Colorful Toning Uncirculated
1887 Morgan Dollar from the Philadelphia mint recently graded MS64 by PCGS.
This was a Tidy House Dollar which are well known for their beautiful and deep, colorful toning. This one did not disappoint. Deep rose, lavender and violet overtones on the obverse and on the reverse, the eagle appears to be flying over an autumn fiery, sunset sky. Just beautiful in hand. I am using the PCGS True View photos as my attempts to capture the true look in hand have been futile. While the PCGS True Views may be a little animated, they are pretty spot on to what the coin looks like when held and tilted in the light.
