Item Description
Repunched Date, FS-301, nice obvious doubling visible to the naked eye. The first enlarged image of the date area is of the coin being offered; the second is courtesy of NGC Variety Plus to show a higher grade example for comparison. A total of 15 coins certified at PCGS, 11 in Unc, and 7 at NGC, all Unc, so probably scarcer as a circulated coin (or less incentive to get it certified). This is a nice solid mid grade example, certainly worth a premium. One coin certified in VF-30 at PCGS; my impression is that this would likely match that assigned grade.
