This coin is an 1889 US 90% Silver Morgan Dollar. It was graded by PCGS as MS62. The Philadelphia Mint issued 21,726,000 Morgan dollars during 1889. However, the actual number of Morgan Silver Dollars that still exist today from the mintage years of 1878 through 1904 remains unknown, as huge numbers of silver dollars were melted under provisions of the Pittman Act of 1918.
