1892-O Barber Half Dollar. Graded ANACS About Good-3. It is my opinion that this coin may be under graded. I checking out other 1892-O Barber Half Dollars on eBay, I am finding that not only are similar dated and graded coins by PCGS and NGC are in far worse shape (much more wear) than my AG-3 copy available here, but I am also seeing NGC and PCGS 1892-O Barber Half Dollars Graded Good-4 on eBay that are virtually identical (in regard to wear) as the copy of the 1892-O half dollar AG-3 copy I have available here! At least this AG-3 graded 1892-O half dollar I have for sale has some details showing on the leaves (on obverse) while similar coins graded AG-3 by PCGS and NGC clearly DO NOT. Needless to say, I was rather shocked when I sent this half dollar to ANACS years ago, and it came back with grade that it did. Thus, I believe it is quite possible that this coin was undergraded by ANACS. I will let you be the judge. The slab in which this coin is encased is in excellent condition.
