1893-CC $1 ANACS VG10
A superb crusty original and I would venture to say this is conservatively graded
Looks to be a lock F-12 to me.
Im sorry, I detest what I am doing here, more than anything else: people who whine about 3rd party grades, claim their coin is much nicer than everyone else's, and/or insist their coin is far nicer than the grade assigned, or sell coins in 2x2 holders with 50 pluses and writing all over it to the point you're totally distracted from the coin itself !
So yes I'm going against my own grain this one time as I firmly and confidently believe what I am saying without an ounce of doubt
Everyone gives ANACS a bad rap. I bought the coin in this holder as I bought the coin (not the holder).
I spent the last 2 hours examining every single 1893-CC for sale or recently sold on eBay everywhere from AG to VF. I saw a handful of NGC F12, an NGC VG10 (which looked nice and close to this coin), The F12 and F15 had less hair on Liberty, much less eagle wing feather detail, more flatness on the stars and devices. Some had a shiny cleaned look.
Anyway, do your own research. This coin has amazing original surfaces and fine detail in my humble opinion
Returns are never an issue and refunds are issued promptly as soon as I have the coin back on the same holder and condition in which it was sold
Thank you
