A better early New Orleans date. Very Good with bold even rims. The minor discoloration on the Obverse is due to having been scotch taped into a Whitman-style folder page. This is a common old school trick used due to the fact that lower grade Barber Halves tended to fall out of these albums, due to the reeded edges being worn down too much to hold the coin in the hole. Certainly not a problem coin and would still certify if some care was used to remove the tape residue, however I think this belongs in a coin album.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
