A tough early New Orleans date. For technical grading I felt this was a Good to Very Good (Good-6+), however it is certainly what passes for a Commercial VG (and might certify as a VG if submitted). It shows portions of four letters of LIBERTY, as shown, but is a bit short in the details of Liberty's face and wing details on the Eagle. That can be put off to the common mushy New Orleans strike. This coin was recovered out of a California hoard and is about as original as a Barber Half can get. Most of what you see on the coin is good old fashion dirt. It and the others I also have listed were too original for me to want to conserve or mess with in any way - I leave that to a new owner should they choose. Certainly worth a reasonable premium based on the typical cleaned crap early Barber Half you usually see. The observer will just have to make up their own mind as to whether it is worth the listed price.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
