Key Date 1896-S San Francisco issue Barber Half Dollar with G Details, coin has been cleaned.
This key date has a Full Obverse Rim and about 2 1/2 to 3 letters of LIBERTY (LY, part of the T and I). Reverse rim is about half full, but the vast majority of the lettering around the perimeter complete. In fact only a few tips of the letters at around 2:00 are just starting to bleed in toe the rim, the top of the word "OF", and the first A and M in AMERICA. All the other letters circumnavigating the rim are full. It is far more common to see these coins with very worn reverses at this grade level.
