1897 Indian Head Cent With the Misplaced Date (MPD) "1 in the neck" variety. Good Grade. The bottom portion of a 1 is seen protruding from the front of the neck. This variety, also known as Snow-1, is included in the 5th Edition Volume 1 of The Cherrypickers' Guide, indexed as FS-01-1897-401, and can be found on page 75. Grading is objective. Please examine the attached photos to formulate your own opinion in regard to grade. An affordable copy of this popular "oddball" variety.
