1898-S Barber Quarter Very Scarce Key Date Toned XF

Very scarcely seen 1898-S in an XF to Choice XF Grade Range. One of the key date San Francvisco issues, not often seen above G/VG.

 Full, bold LIBERTY both upper and lower bands complete. Nice detail on Ms. Liberty's forehead hair, diadem and the 13 obverse stars all have 3 dimensionality with sharp points on most.

 On the reverse, the eagle shows thick claw and neck feathers and full eagle wing feathers stretched to the tips. Shield shows full detail with all horizontal and vertical lines bold and complete with no typical upper right hand corner (facing) weakness that is so often seen.
