1899 Indian Head Cent graded by PCGS AU Details, Cleaned.
This coin has lovely pastel colorful tones of brick red, auburn, gold and other light tones blended in.
This coin is the classic slider, with a trace of wear or highpoint rub which makes it difficult to differentiate from a truly uncirculated coin.
There are no hair lines, .or other evidence of harsh cleaning, and the luster appears original and unimpaired. I would say any reason for the cleaning being noted on this coin appears to be very light and hard to detect.
