GENERAL COIN FACTS/DESCRIPTION: The Liberty Nickel, also known as the “V” nickel, is a five-cent coin that was minted in the United States from 1883 to 1912. The obverse features a left-facing image of Lady Liberty, wearing a tiara with the word "LIBERTY" on it. The head is surrounded by 13 six-pointed stars. The reverse features a large Roman numeral "V" in a wreath, representing the word "FIVE". The upper periphery has "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and the lower periphery has the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM".
This coin is named after Charles Edward Barber, it’s designer and the 6th Chief Engraver at the United States Mint. It was primarily minted for circulation between 1883-1912 in Philadelphia; in 1912 it was also minted in San Francisco and Denver due to demand for this coin denomination. The mint mark (S, D) if present can be found on the reverse adjacent to the dot between the “UNITED” and “CENTS”. ***** Although no 1913 Liberty Head Nickels were officially struck for circulation, five are known to exist being surreptitiously struck. While it is uncertain how these pieces originated, they have come to be among the most expensive coins in the world, with one selling in 2018 for $4.5 million!!! *****

SHIPPING

RETURN
If you are not happy with your item please return in the original packaging and with all tags attached within 14 days. Items must be returned postage paid. Refund of purchase price will be refunded by the same method as the payment was made. Postage and packaging will not be refunded.
If your item is faulty or we have sent you something different to what you ordered, again please return it to us within 14 days and we will give you a full refund or replacement (if available); including postage and packaging.
