The second of the so-called "Philippines" dates. Much of the Mintage of 1898 to 1900 San Francisco Silver coinage was shipped to the Philippines to replace Spanish Colonial coinage after we annexed the Archipelago following the Spanish-American War. As a result, just a bit tougher to find these than they should be based upon Mintage. A nice, totally original Very Good with full bold rims. Certainly not a super scarce coin, but worth a premium I think compared to the average cleaned crap early Barber Half you usually see. This coin was recovered out of a California hoard and about as original as a Barber Half can get. Some minor stains and toning, however no damage. It and the others I also have listed were too original for me to want to conserve - I leave that to a new owner should they choose.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
