Hi and thank you for looking.
My Dad left me a small stack of Morgan dollars, in varying grades. I sent several to be graded and am aware of the range, BUT I am completely ignorant of grading. Old coins was his passion, but I am struggling to see the tiny differences, as I am less creative, more numbers driven.
I have used the camera from an iPad Pro, with images that should readily expand for your inspection. Please know that Dad bought some coins which have cellophane tape residue or were polished. I know this from having roughly 20 graded, and about 15% came back marked as such. I do not know how to see either flaw.
I will list others if there is any real interest, just bear in mind I am slogging through the unknown. Please ask questions if need.
