Item Description
Uncirculated, an original basic BU example of this better date, MS-60 or better. Light scattered marks & scuffs, however no wear and full luster. Almost certainly an original "bag coin" out of the 1960's Treasury releases. Well struck from the earlier C-3 hub, so better detail overall on the Eagle's breast than many of the date, and without the planchet roller lines noted by Bowers as showing on many specimens. I will guarantee that this coin will certify as Mint State at any service of your choice or I will pay the fees and buy the coin back. My opinion is that this coin would likely certify MS-61. If certification is a concern/consideration, you can contact me about my extended return privilege for third party grading. Due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.
