1901-S Barber Half Dollar PCGS G6 Key Date Crusty Original Almost VG
Key Date 1901-S Barber Half Dollar freshly graded by PCGS as PCGS G6.
2 Full Rims, or very nearly so as you could argue that 9:00-10:00 on the reverse is just faded away and it is indeed close. That could also be attributed to a weaker strike so it is definitely open for debate.
What can't be debated is the originality of this wonderful example. About 3 letters of LIBERTY visible (L and Y and part of the I and about half of the T), but it is the dusty gray/brown patina that unmolested circulated Barbers morph into over time that is the leading aspect that jumps out at me on this example.
On the reverse we can see almost a full motto with the first few letters being gone or partially gone
Very pleasing and appealing and excellent eye appeal for this grade level.
