(Stock #10c1903606 NHAXVR)
I am a member of the American Numismatic Assocation and the Iowa Numismatic Assocation. I follow the grading standards set forth by the ANA except that I consider MS-67 (SUPER GEM) or Proof-67 (SUPER GEM) a perfect coin. Thus MS-68/69/70 and PF-68/69/70 I do not use unless it is a slabbed coin certified by PCGS, NGC, ICG, ANACS, CCCS (Canadian Coin Certification Service), or ICCS (International Coin Certification Service). Unless I otherwise indicate in the listing all my coins are exact specific coins. I incorporate my stock codes in my listings. Take for example this one from a 1981-D MS-64 (Near Gem) Washington Quarter I sold.
(Stock #25c1981364 KZKTTG KLGAdbK)
The first part 25c1981364 gives the denomation, date, mintmark code, and grade. The second part KZKTG KLGAdbK is my stock code. Any attribution such as a type designation (like TYPE 2 on 1979 or 1981 USA Proof Coins), speciality designation (like FSB on Mercury Dimes), error notation, OverMintMark (such as D OVER S for a 1955-D/S Jefferson Nickel), RPM (Repunched Mintmark), etc. will appear between the firrst and second parts. Take for example this 1952 PROOF SUPERBIRD PF-63 (Choice Proof) Washington Quarter I sold:
(Stock #25c1952963 SUPERBIRD MHMDBGT MLRVaLPR)
SUPERBIRD appears in the middle as this is the variety specific to that date and individual coin.
My stock codes insure that no matter how many coins I may have of the same denomination, date, mintmark and grade the choice is yours. You do the picking and I do the shipping. That said all coins are subject to prior sale especially when I am a coin show. I try to delete sold listings as quick as possible. However, in the event that you buy a coin that I have sold I will promptly give you your choice of a refund or purchase credit if I cannot send you a similar quality coin of the same grade or cannot quickly obtain a replacement of the coin in the same grade in a time you agree to be acceptable.
TERMS OF SALE:
ORDERS:
Most orders are sent Economy Shipping. "Ecomony shipping" means USPS First Class Mail in white envelopes sealed with clear shipping tape. USPS First Class Mail does NOT have tracking numbers or insurance. I do ship orders as USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail Cubic to domestic addresses (inside the U.S.A.) at no additional charge if any one of the following four factors apply:
#1 Your order is high ticket (exceeding $100 USD).
#2 Your order contains any single coin which is thicker than an American Silver Dollar minted in 1935 or before.
#3 Your order contains more than six coins.
#4 Your order contains any single item such as a proof set, mint set, supplies, albums, or a slabbed coin which obviously cannot fit a first class envelope.
If you wish your order to be shipped as USPS Ground Advantage when none of the four factors apply this will be an additional charge of $7.00 if your order is domestic (to addresses inside the U.S.A.). To request this upgraded shipping during the checkout processes hit request a total from seller before you pay for your order. I will then send you an updated invoice with the $7.00 surcharge added for your shipping upgrade.
Insurance is also an additional surcharge unless your order is domestic (inside the U.S.A.) and totals more than $300 then I will pay for insurance via USPS.
SHIPMENT DATE: Always watch your email for an updated invoice after your order is finalized and after I have shipped it FOR YOUR SHIPMENT DATE. Under the Grand Total you will see a box that says "Seller Notes" and this where I post your shipment date for example:
Shipped Saturday 02d 03m 24.
The date I enter will be the date your order enters USPS custody. If I am not mailing at my local or a nearby post office I will also add the city and state of the post office I mail your order at.
I also use the "Seller Notes" box to add any pre-shipment notes. For example I may say "Order Pulled" followed by a specific date when I am at a coin show and may not be able to get your order out until I return to my office. If you order say four coins through four separate invoices on the same day and I mail all four in the same envelope or package I will list each coin and say "consolidated to one order and shipped ---" so you know you will receive the four coins in one shipment not four shipments.
If your order ships by USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail Cubic or USPS First Class Package International Package it will have a tracking number. You can see this number two ways:
#1 Login to USA Coin Book and the number login to USA Coin Book and on the left side of the page you will see "Activity Menu" and under that you will see "Buyer Summary." Under "Buyer Summary" click on "Purchase History/Invoices" and that will bring up all the coins you have ever bought from anyone on USA Coin Book with your most recent purchases appearing at the top of the first page. Once I post the tracking number it will appear under "Marked As Paid and Shipped - Invoice Complete" under each coin I have shipped you with that individual tracking number.
#2 Login to the email account you have on file with USA Coin Book. The day I create the shipping label for your package you should receive an email from Pirateship.com and that email will also have the tracking number.
I am not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, misdirected or otherwise late due to actions, errors, and omissions by USPS. I will not issue refunds in such events as I have no control over their operations unless your order was insured. If your order was insured I may refund in part or in full only when I receive settlement funds from USPS. You agree not to pursue claims or chargebacks through any third party including Paypal. If you are having problems receiving your order from me once I have posted your ship date or any other mail on time please contact the Post Master or Delivery Supervisor at your local post office.
RETURNS: Seven Day Return priviledge is seven business days (excluding all Saturdays, Sundays, plus any other day that is a holiday for USPS). You need to email mail me first within those seven days and then return the coins through USPS (not Fedex or UPS). This way I know about when to expect the arrival of the return. Return priviledge is void when #1 the merchandise is removed from the original holders I mailed them to you in and #2 any kind of buillion sale is always final and #3 if I post a listing says all sales final then that particular listing has no return priviledge. I will refund 100% of the sale price of the item(s) if you paid by cash or check. If you paid by Paypal I will refund 95% of the sale price of the item(s) due to non refundable Paypal fees. I will not reimurse return postage fees. If you prefer I can give you a credit on your next order or agree to exchange item(s) within the seven day window if I have the item(s) you want at that time or if I can obtain them in a time we both agree is reasonable.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (to addresses outside the U.S.A.) The same above terms for domestic orders will also apply to you except
#1 "Economy shipping" means USPS First Class Mail International in white envelopes sealed with clear shipping tape which does NOT have a tracking number or insurance. However, past experience tells me that orders shipped this way tend to arrive in between 10 and 18 business days.
#1 The surcharge for upgraded shipping when none of the above four factors apply will depend upon the country of destination and the weight of your package.
#2 If one of the above four factors apply you may receive a surcharge depending on the contents of your order. Generally this surcharge will apply to bulky heavy items such as rolls of coins, mint sets, proof sets, albums, and supplies. If I deem it necessary to add a surcharge I will calculate the difference between domestic and international shipping based upon the weight of the package and the destination country and I will charge you only the difference.
#3 I send out international packages by USPS First Class Package International which requires a customs form detailing the contents, weight, and value of the package. Depending upon the country of destination you may incur customs duties at the time your package is delivered. Such duties will be your responsibility. While international packages usually take about 5 to 10 business days to exit the U.S.A., past experience tells me that your order may also take several weeks to clear customs in the destination country and is much slower than USPS First Class Mail International.
Special Notes on Jefferson Nickels: Any Jefferson Nickels I sell by date which are uncirculated are described by strike as follows in ascending quality: Weak, Average, Strong and SHARP. If the coin has 5 or 6 steps that are full then it qualifies as Full Steps. Any Jefferson described as Near Full Steps is a coin that just misses the Full Step designation because of one to three light marks which interrupt one or more of the steps.
Special Notes on Roosevelt Dimes: FB is the designation I use for fully separated horizontal bands on the center torch. FT is the designation for a coin that is FB AND has a nice strongly struck center torch with no visible contact marks.
