A bit of an underrated date. This shows a classic "Whitman folder" toning pattern, where the Obverse side had contact with the paper flap, producing some toning, while the Reverse was protected down in the hole. The Obverse is just a touch darker than seen here, due to the light used to image the coin. Some very light traces of luster still remains on the Obverse in protected areas around the rim. Appears original, or it it was very lightly cleaned, it was 75 years ago or more - in any case I have no doubt this would certify.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
