Item Description
All the 1909 Halves from all three Mints were struck a bit oddly, and commonly have a full LIBERTY even through the other detail is far weaker. Thus many dealers try to make a "Fine" or VF out of a lesser coin that only displays VG detail. This however is the real deal. Allowing for the typical '09-S strike, this is a Choice VF. Original, it does have a couple of light scratches at 8:00 (shown), so discounted a tick as a result.
