Here is a lucky find. I bought a little trio set of 1909 coins that have the Indian Head and 09 and 09 vdb. Well turns out this one is the Matte Proof and unfortunately got into circulation but not horribly because its in rather nice condition for the circumstances. I shall pass on my good fortune.
I have an old red corn crib on my property thats gotta be at least 100 yrs old from mason jars I found that have 1880 date on them. I got my metal detector out and so far in just 1 small corner searched I found a bag of about 300 pennies from 1882 to Early 1900's.
