1910-S Barber Half Dollar PCGS F15 Gorgeous Unbutchered Original!
The 1910-S lives in the shadows of its Philadelphia cousin who claims the 4th lowest mintage of the entire series. The 1910-S could be a sleeper, it is now slouch when it comes to finding one in an original state of preservation at the choice F to VF grade level.
This example would satisfy even the most finicky and discerning collector. Full Liberty without any weakness on any of the 7 letters, details starting to fill in on the diadem (bonnet); 3 dimensionality is seen on several obverse stars.
On the reverse, the eagle neck feathers are starting to fill out, horizontal shield lines are about half complete as are the eagle wings, about half complete. Superb and choice in every way and properly graded.
Just a wonderful, fully original example, conservatively graded for sure and very PQ for the grade.
