This beautiful gold coin dated 1910 comes from France with the right profile of the Marianne wearing a Phrygian cap and a crown of oak branch. Marianne has been the national personification of the French Republic since the French Revolution, as a personification of liberty, equality, fraternity and reason, as well as a portrayal of the Goddess of Liberty.
On the reverse the French motto: Liberté, égalité, fraternité (Liberty, equality, fraternity) surrounds a cock with a proud, puffed-up bust, walking to the left on a ground line decorated with grasses and flowers. The value of 20 Fcs is visible on the coin, with the number 20 on the left and the franc on the right.
