In The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents, David W. Lange wrote "...uncirculated coins of this date are more likely than previous P-mint cents to have unattractive toning or spotting...When gems are found, however, they more often than not have outstanding luster." Both of these statements clearly apply to the example illustrated, which seems to have been permanently branded with a fingerprint.
This is a very common coin in circulated grades, and Mint State pieces certified as BN or RB are plentiful. Fully red gems are available, but they bring strong prices from registry set buyers.
