The 1912 Barber dime is one of the more common date of the series, as "common" as it is, it is one of the most favored and popular choices for type collectors. Though many examples can be obtained until MS66, they drastically become scarce in grades above MS66 with only a handful of examples available in MS67 and MS67+. This spectacular condition census specimen is a superb Gem piece exhibiting lovely mint frost surfaces that are virtually flawless. The immaculate strike detail on both sides only further enhance the already splendid surface boasting uber reflective fields and endless pale silver luster. The overall high quality and originality only catches the viewer in awe of its marvelous state. Only 7 examples have been endorsed by CAC with none finer while only a dozen are PCGS certified. No CAC auction records have sold since 2018 and 2017 when they both sold for $2,938 07/18 LE and 01/17 LE which lacked the eye appeal and luster that this posses. Look closely at this blast white example and try to spot any hits or imperfections. The reverse is a solid ms68. A great and unique opportunity to be in possession.
