Item Description
Here is a 1913 P (Type 1) Buffalo Nickel that has been submitted to PCGS for restoration and graded as XF 40. As you can see from the photos, while they were able to greatly improve the condition of the coin, they were not able to remove all residue. Nevertheless, this is an excellent coin and would be a very good addition to any collection. Also, as the photos indicate, the front of the coin (like so many Buffalo Nickels) is misaligned with the reverse by several degrees. USACoinbook warrants that if you were to purchase an EF 40 coin from a dealer that you would pay approximately $27. However, you can have this restored and graded coin for only $25 (plus shipping).
This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
