Here is a 1915 D Buffalo Nickel that PCGS has determined is the victim of an Acid Treatment. Thus, because of its previous wear, they are only able to give it a grade of G Detail. For what it is worth, the front (like so many Buffalo Nickels) is misaligned significantly with the reverse. Nevertheless, this is a somewhat rare coin with prices reflecting its scarcity. PCGS indicates that a G 4 coin would be worth $25 and USACoinbook shows that if you were to purchase a G 4 coin from a dealer that you would pay approximately $22. However, because of its previous treatment, you can have this graded coin for only $19 (plus shipping).
This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
To ensure delivery, this coin will be sent via Certified Mail.
If ordering multiple coins from me, please note that contrary to what the system indicates, it does not consider multiple items in your basket and calculates the shipping costs as if I were sending each one individually. To overcome this, order all of the coins you want, but do NOT pay yet. I will then go in and adjust the invoice to bring the shipping costs to a more reasonable level. At this time you should pay me.
If paying by check or money order, this coin will be shipped once funds have cleared.
Thanks for looking.
