Souvenir "Penny", produced for the twin 1915 Expositions in California, featuring an image of a Native American wearing a Plains Indian feathered headdress. This is the large format 45mm pure Copper version, the image a bit more crude than the 38mm version also found. Choice Uncirculated, certified NGC MS-63BN. Relatively scarce overall, scarcer still if found problem free due to the heavier weight and size, let alone as a certified Uncirculated piece. Very few certified by NGC; the current Census shows only two examples, one each in MS-64 & 65. This piece pre-dates the time when NGC started to keep a Census of tokens so not in the Census, and is out of an old Northwest collection. Very few comps to go by: the single MS-65 piece sold April of this year for $499. My listed asking price is extrapolated from this and my own knowledge of PPIE exonumia - as other's opinions may vary, I have included a Make an Offer option. Due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
