This is a replica of the 1916 Type 1 Standing Liberty Quarter that is marked 'COPY' on the reverse. The 1916 Quarter was issued by the Philadelphia Mint. The Type 1 SL Quarters did not display the 3 stars below the eagle on the reverse. In 1916, only 52,000 SL quarters were issued in Philadelphia.
