Item Description
Well struck without the poor detail common to this date due to typical excessive die polishing. Very little actual wear and considerable luster. Coins like this are almost impossible to find without having been at least lightly cleaned at some point. In this case it is very hard to tell if this suffered that fate, with nothing obvious - the color and surfaces match what I expect of the grade/age. I am pretty sure that it would still certify if submitted, and in that case it has a solid chance at coming back AU-58, based upon other coins I reviewed. Either way, solidly in the Choice AU numerical range and a CAC candidate as well. Offered at the equivalent of a certified AU-55. Due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.
