1917 P Mercury Dime

Here is a bright and shiny 1917 P Mercury Dime that has been graded by PCGS as AU Detail because someone cleaned it. However, the details stand out very well and you can even see on the reverse that if this coin were able to receive a numerical grade, it would have received a Full Band designation. Also, you can see that, like so many coins, the front is misaligned with the reverse by a few degrees, however it is in the opposite direction. PCGS (July/August 2021) indicates that an AU 50 coin would be worth $17. But because someone gave this coin a bath, you can have this graded coin for only $14 (plus shipping).

This item is a part of a liquidation sale currently in progress and is priced to sell. Retirement looms and with no one else in the family interested in this pastime, it is time to find new homes for all of my coins. Please note that other avenues of liquidation are being explored so this particular item may not be around much longer.
