This is a replica of the 1918/7-S (8 over 7) Silver Standing Liberty Quarter that is marked 'COPY' on the reverse. The 1918/7-S Quarter was issued by the San Francisco Mint but the coin's date of 1917 had the 7 over struck with an 8. It is unknown how many over strikes were minted but they are very rare. This is a way of owning a replica of this rare coin for filling a spot in a collection, or for educational purposes. The replica is made of 90% silver and weighs 5.09+/- grams.
